POWER NIGERIA EXHIBITION

Lagos, the commercial hub of Nigeria, will host the second edition of the Power Nigeria exhibition on 2-4 October 2013.

Nigeria’s Vision 20:2020 has identified power as a major challenge in constraining economic growth and development in Nigeria. The total proposed investment in the power sector over the next 7 years is US$28 billion.

In March 2013, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) announced plans to finance power projects in Nigeria including 3 - 5 Independent Power Plants (IPPs) for at least 1,500 Megawatts (MW) of new generation capacity.

Power Nigeria provides the platform for local and international companies to network and open sales avenues in this exciting market. The exhibition serves as a comprehensive showcase for these core segments of the power and energy industry:

  • Power generation, transmission & distribution
  • Lighting
  • New & renewable energy
  • Nuclear energy
  • Water

Nigeria has been ranked as one of four major investment destinations and growth areas in the world.
